Local residents have complained for some time about the speed of traffic along Cartersfield Lane.
Following one of the recommendations in the Lichfield, Rural South Traffic Survey of December 2018 SCAR worked in conjunction with Staffordshire County Council and submitted an application for a Grant under the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership Scheme.
The application was successful and after some delay due to Covid 19 restrictions, the work was finally completed in August 2021.This grant together with a contribution from the County Councillor's roads budget has lead to speed reduction signs and a 40mph buffer zone being installed in Cartersfield Lane.
